Remembering Denise as a little girl growing up next door to us for awhile and then visiting us in her late teens. We were delighted to see her again. We remember you, Denise, especially today, with love on your 50th birthday. xx
Thinking of Denise at this time. Precious memories as a child and a visit from her as a young adult. Eternally remembered and loved by Jean and Allison ....and us too. xx
Hi Sweetheart. Today would have been your 48th birthday I love you and I am sure that if Phillip could come on your website he would send his love to you too. It is very hot at the moment in Western Australia so much different from the cold wet foggy weather in England when you were born. Can’t get to your grave so I leave a flower here for you. Love and hugs from Mum xxxooo 27th not 26th
Thinking of Denise at this time, Jean. The years seem to fly by but memories never die of our loved ones. She was a living part of your life for 20 years and will always be with you no matter what. Love to you and Allison. Rest peacefully, Denise xxxooxx
Hi Jean I was a classmate and friend of Denise in primary school and lived in the house behind yours in Lara. I moved to Japan more than 20 years ago and lost touch with many of our young friends. But this week Tim Fisher, another Lara PS schoolmate, is visiting Tokyo and I got to thinking about the fun times we had as kids growing up in that small, quasi-rural community. I thought I'd track Denise down on Facebook and say hello, only to learn yesterday of your terrible loss all those years ago. Of course I only knew her as a child, but as a child myself my memory of her is as fully formed as the personality of anyone I've met in adulthood. She was the sweetest, kindest and most generous girl I had ever met. My favourite memory of Denise is of her sneaking over the fence one summer night with a bag of goodies from the Melbourne Show that she brought to share with this sad little boy who for some reason or other didn't get to go to the show! I didn't know Denise as an adult, but the moment I saw her face in the photos you shared I knew it was the same gentle and happy girl I remember. I think this is a lovely idea to keep her memory alive and as a place for friends to pay their respects. I hope it brings you some happiness to know even though all these have passed, Denise's memory lives on ... even in the most unexpected places.
Hi Jean of course I didn't know Denise personally, but being a close friend of your Mum, I felt as though I knew you all so well. We were all so devastated when we learnt of the accident, but hopefully now your beautiful Daughter and your Mum are together in Heaven, Edna would be in her seventh Heaven!! Fondly remembered always. xx
I never knew Denise - but I know from what her Mum Jean has shared - that she was a lovely young lady. She is greatly loved by her family and remembered forever. Taken from her loving Mum way too soon - leaving a heart that will forever be scarred. Loving thoughts..xxx
Denise, my godaughter I didnt have the privelage of watching you grow into the beautiful young woman that you are and it saddens me that your life ended so soon. What I do remember is how precious you were to your mum, dad, sister and grandma Hindle so wherever you are now just know that you will remain in our hearts forever. I love the photos your mum posts, and I also know that you will probably be cringing but hey thats what mums do! God Bless and keep you safe x
We have very fond memories of Denise growing up next door. What a beautiful young woman she grew into. We were thrilled that she visited us not long before her passing. Always in our memory. xxx Val & Frank
