On, June 26, 2017, Denise got invited to a celebration that she could not refuse. This celebration is a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. It has taken her to wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, and singing to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her children, family and friends, to celebrate her life here. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.

To all who knew Denise, we ask for loving energy as everyone grieves her loss. She touched more people in her lifetime than we can ever know. She has returned home to God, but her spirit still surrounds us with love and peace.

Denise leaves behind her husband, Darren Culver, five beautiful children, Brittney Owens, John French and his wife Meagan, Dani Culver, Desiree Culver, and Dane Culver, Her father, Dannie Owens, Brother and Sister in Law, David and Donna Owens, Sister, Michele Rion, Sister Shannon Owens, Sister Danna Owens, Niece, McKenzie Owens, Nephew Evan Rion, five beautiful grandchildren, Maddix, Logan, Oakley, Tristan, and Kason, and a ton of family and friends.

Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley M. Ryon and grandparents, Bill and Eva Roberts and Willis and Lucille Owens.

Wow it was such a shock to learn you fought that fight and earned your wings way to early. I didn't want to miss you. I wanted to come visit and hear you laugh and cry as you told me all about life since I moved back home. You made some beautiful babies that have grown up to be beautiful people that I know your so proud of watching from above. I know you were happy to see JP but I was so sad I would not see that smile again in this life. I know Brittany has huge holes in her heart and misses you both more than you know but you know you raised a strong woman and she will not only survive she will come out on top. I cried when I saw Dani, she is the spitting image of you. I had to do a double take. I just can not believe the resemblance. She is beautiful and a successful model. I am totally impressed. Michele and David must be lost without you. It's always been the 3 of y'all until the end. The laughter is not the same without you. God sent you an angel and I will never forget when Darren showed up right when you needed him. Hell at the time, I needed him. And when he showed I knew he was in for the long haul. Thank you Darren for never leaving my friend. I love you Darren. I love and miss you Denise. I love your family and their families. I love our friends. That we had our time in life, wasn't it great? God's plan. Hug everybody for me and make sure my mansion in the sky is right next to yours and just how I like it. Until I see you again my friend... Rock on!

Denise, I will miss you so very much. Our Sunday & Monday fundays, our long talks on my way into work, your laughter, your quick whit, but most of all, just YOU, just us! Thank you for being the kind, gentle sister friend I could have ever wished or hoped for in this lifetime. Thank you for being there for me when Jason passed! You were and will always continue to be my strength and inspiration. You are the strongest women I have ever known, fought your battle to the end. I am grateful and oh so thankful to know that you are at peace now. Our lives were a better place with you in it, so now we look to you to watch over us and keep us all in line. I will see ya later and until then, I love and adore you, YOU make my heart smile EVERYDAY!

Thank you for all the laughs we shared when Dani and I were inseparable. I thought of you as family. You have such a sweet soul and I am so glad I got the honor of knowing you and you have such a beautiful family. Where do I begin? I cannot remember my life without you in it. We have been joined at the hip since the day we met. We've laughed, cried, shared secrets that only the two of us knew, raised our babies together and I watched you fight a battle with courage, strength and grace that would have rivaled the bravest warrior. I was in awe of your strength and fighting spirit right up to the end. I am not sure how to be me without you....this ones gonna be tough. You will forever live in my memories. Until we meet again my dearest friend.

I think her picture says a lot... always a smile and what a contagious smile it is, happy, positive person, her love for her family, never met a stranger, non-judgmental, thinks of others before herself, joyful. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She is finally at peace and no longer in pain. We love you Denise. Prayers for all her family.

In memory of a beautiful precious child of God that had the will to live like no other. Denise, we are so glad that John and I had the pleasure of meeting you and your family. It's so sad that you had to leave this earth but, you fought the beast and you finally won! You will definitely be missed as I know you will miss your family and friends. I pray that your family will overcome this sadness as you are no longer under the beast's control. You are no longer sick. You are with all the angels that have gone on before us! Your friends and family will never forget the impact you made on their lives with your vibrant personality and wit. You are only just a few clouds away and I'm sure heaven is wonderful. Until we all meet again, we will remember you always and forever!
