A Glimpse of Auntie Denise Manon life

July 30, 2015

This  is a very  hard task to give  a glimpse of  a life  of a Pioneer

Let start  at the beginning....
Remember  like a flash  her voice  and listening to her  stories ...

Born in Mauritius  at a time we call ( Margoze ) troubles  times, peoples  at that period  was very poor,. Mauritius  was categorises as under developing countries , Denise at an early ages  was attracted to God  and her quest for Spiritual  search bring  her to  accompany her  grand sister Leone  and  her husband  Eugene Pellegrin   to  a  fireside  at  Artillerie Square  -She was very touch at the teaching of Baha'ú'llah and after  some readings  and fireside she declare  her belief in the Blessed Beauty , she was so aflame  a fire that never stop her in her  service to the Cause until her last breath on this  earth ;she used to memorise for me the activites  in the Bahai Centre  at Artillerie Square (cant add picture  now  until  buying  a premium ) ...She  said  that she always missed this Growing and turbulent period of the Faith  when mostly the door of the  newly bahai  centre was opened  till late at night sometime up to 3am  for fireside with
peoples  searching for truth and some for knowledge of the new  Religion  there was at this time Joseph Rughoo  - Mr Seechurn,Fabien  among others great teachers who got profound knowledge of the prophecies of the Bible ,Holy Koran ect ,.  tea and snack was served always  and  no one wanted to go home they  were  so spiritually uplifted and there was  love and unity ,, now imagine a young girl among them who was on fire with the love of God
She used to recall that the friends  accompany her to her home late at night walking 4 kilometers  some on bicycles then return back to their home.,

Denise after  her work  she was a pre-primary teacher went to open the Bahai Centre with some others  bahai  cleaning and bringing flowers and delicacies    preparing for the Fireside to be held at  night...

The nighteen days  feast  was  attended  by more than 35  friends and Denise  never missed  to add that unity and love  was  always presents no one wanted to leave,  this was a glorious periods of the beginning of our  faith in Port Louis ,

to be  continued ...
