I've been at a loss for words since Denise passed. I'm so sad that Denise had to leave us so soon.
After losing a sister when I was 16, I spoke with my pastor about the grief that I was feeling. My pastor explained that everyone is put on Earth with a special task. When they accomplish that task they're called back home to heaven. I'm not sure what Denise's task was but if I had to guess I would say it was to spread joy among everyone she met. I saw that 25 years ago when I meet her. Whenever I would see her she would be laughing and smiling. With everything that I'm reading online I can see how I was not the only person that she touched while she was here. Denise is and will always be my friend. Until I see you again, I love you.
Kenny, Sharon, Kyle and Jessica I am so truly sorry for your loss and wish that I could be there for all of you. I love you and hope to see all of you soon.

Denise had a kind, fun loving, friendly spirit. She brightened up every room and campsite she entered. Her laughter was infectious. The world is a sadder place without her.

Denise, you were always the life of the party & I know you still are. I know you and my mom found the best party in heaven and are living it up. Thank you for always being so wonderful to me throughout the years. You were so strong and brave to battle this and everyone is so proud of you.

We do not know anyone who did not love Denise! She was a strong, caring, loving person, but most of all so much fun to be around! She found the positive in any situation and accepted people for who they were. We admired her courageous battle with cancer, never giving up. We draw on her strength now as we mourn her passing.        We little knew that morning ,that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly , in death we do the same.          It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us with precious memories your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side our family chain is broke and nothing seems the same.

I wish I could have spent more time with beautiful Denise and Kenny, my cousins. I have seen many photos posted on FB over the past years and no matter where she was in her battle, she always had a smile on the face. Rest in peace, Warrior Woman.

This just breaks my heart. Memories of St. Patty's day at your moms place and fun times camping will always put a smile on my face! You had a way of always making me feel welcome, I'll never forget that. Love and peace to Denise's family in this sad time.. she will always be remembered and I'll be planting an evergreen tree in her memory.

Denise even though I only seen you a few times at family gatherings, you were a wonderful person. Always made us feel like family. I will forever remember the fun times and laughs from then.
