The family of Dennis Brummitt (December 19, 1927 - April 26, 2015) will host a time of visitation and remembrance on Saturday, May 30, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the home of Ben and Jennifer Lane, 4150 Gray Rock Rd, Kittrell, NC 27544.
Mr. Brummitt was the son of Nathaniel Clay and Belle Harris Brummitt and grew up in the Gray Rock community. After graduating from Wilton High School, Dennis served honorably in the U.S. Army Feb 26, 1946 - Aug 26, 1947. He married Vada Jane Cutts on May 25, 1951 in Creedmoor, NC. In 1953, Dennis began a 35-year career as a salesman with Armour Food Company. A graveside service was held May 2, 2015 at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
