Leave a TributeI love you now & forever, Booma
I miss the strength you brought me and the comfort that it gave, and on your birthday it's so hard pretending to be brave.
I've found hidden courage and it helps to see me through, it guides me and protects me and I know it comes from you.
Here on earth we shared a life as happy as could be, and I never took for granted all you meant to me.
So I shall spend your birthday dreaming that you're here, helping me to wipe away every silent tear.
Love you and Miss you every day. Booma
There's a little place within my heart that's with me every day.
A place where all my memories are safely tucked away.
It is the perfect place for me at special times to go.
For words alone could not explain how much I miss you so.
And now that once again Christmastime has come around it's where the sweetest memories and thoughts of you are found.
Remembering the happiness and the feelings of good cheer when we celebrated Christmas in the days when you were here.
For at special times like this one almost everything we do seems to bring back precious memories of those moments spent with you.
But your smile lives on forever and your voice we often hear and on Christmas day, as always we will shed a silent tear.
And we'll think of all those good times and the special bond we had for we never will forget you, our Devoted, Dearest Dad.
Well I'd like to tell yout uh at I miss all your little weird things you said and did, but since I live with your clone, those things I still get to enjoy?! But your presence is what we miss the most, the kids are so amazing and I could not be prouder, you wod be too! Some Amazing Grandchildren I made you. You are welcome....haha, anyway keep an eye on those boys for me since they are out on their own, love you until we meet again
Time passes but not one day goes by that you are not here in my heart. The day you died was not just a date on a calendar, it was the day when my very existence changed forever.
I miss you every day and will love you always.
It has been five years now since you left this earth. I miss you and think about you every day. I have been very fortunate to spend the anniversary of your passing with Donna. It has helped a great deal to grieve with her.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I thought about you all day, spent the day with Skip and Rick. We miss you every day but also know that you are finally feeling better. Love and Kisses Always, Booma

Hi, Boompa;
Just thinking about you a lot lately. It is almost time for our grandson's birthdays. I know how very much you loved both of them and I do too!. I don't see them but I was thinking about how you loved to play games and cards with them. You and I have birthdays coming up very soon also. I wish I could make you one of your favorite meals again.
I love you and am glad that you are finally at peace, no more pain.

My father-the greatest man I've ever known
He will eternally be remembered as an honorable and very likeable man, loving and devoted husband, caring and wise father, magical grandfather, loving and protective brother, supportive and helpful uncle, and genuinely a terrific and knowledgeable friend, mentor, coach, leader and entrepreneur.
Known to most as Boompa or Dan, he was the most loving, respected, caring, unselfish, giving, honest, helpful, wise, friendly, hard working, easy going, understanding, forgiving, patient, compassionate, extraordinary perfect example of a human being.
He was an honorable and proud ex-marine that came from very humble beginnings and was never handed anything but earned everything that he had in life by doing it for himself. Other than smoking cigarettes, he had no vices with any evil things such as drinking, drugs, gambling, womanizing, or any kind of wrongdoings.
An honest and true great man that never had nor leaves behind any enemies. Everyone who knew him liked and cared about him. He could make strangers feel as if they were family as he often demonstrated this by inviting those less fortunate and in need into the family home to become part of the family.
He was an old-school gentleman that truly believed in, lived by, and stood for the highest of family values. As an excellent provider for his family, he did whatever it took to raise his family in the best environment possible in order to steer them in the right direction and away from trouble. He was an absolutely extraordinary man that was married only once, for 47 years and counting, to the true love of his life and pillar of his entire existence. He will forever be revered and cherished as an upstanding role model by his two sons. He was a loving and protective big brother as well as a magical and proud grandfather and uncle. Not to be left unrecognized, he was by far and unparalleled, the greatest master, best friend, and trainer of numerous one-of-a-kind dogs starting with Captain right on through to Sandi.
Overall, he was the most generous and compassionate friend, 2nd dad, and even co-worker that was always accepting of anyone needing a hand up. He was always the most giving, understanding, accepting, and all around good guy to all friends, friends of the family, in-laws, and all branches of his extended family.
"Trust Me!" he was the greatest salesman that I've ever known. He mastered the art of working hard to not work hard. As a career salesman that was never afraid to the newest get rich quick scheme, he will be forever famous for instilling the theories of "Don't use the shovel, sell the shovel", "you never know how far someone will jump until you goose them a little", and of course, "There's an ass for every seat". From the man that could never see any Christmas lights, he never missed a car that he had sold or a set of beige and Barcelona brown awnings that would match any house!
HE ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY HERO!
I LOVE YOU DAD!
Christmas with Boompa
When Shane and Shawn were growing up we spent most every Christmas with Boompa and Booma! Booma always loved the Christmas lights and so we would very often go around town to look at them. But it never failed that Boompa couldn't see them...well not totally true..He could see them but he would just tell the boys he couldn't see them. They would point at where they were and he would pretend like he couldn't see them...they boys just kept trying to show him where there were at...It was so funny! The boys played this game with Boompa every Christmas for many years...well till they realized that Bompa could really see them...Thanks for loving my boys so much Boompa!
