I remember seeing Denny's name on one of the panels at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Holmdel Township during its dedication way back. As a matter of fact, the cover of the program for that day was a closeup of that panel with Denny's name front and center. Still chokes me up when I think of him on that memorial. He was a man's man and my brother-in-arms from Vietnam.

My dear friend,we met in kindergarten, and were friends ever since.I probably wouldnt be writing this now,if your dad would have let you go in the army with me.But you cant change the past,it is what it is.I think of you often, and wondered where life would have taken you.Probably a big trucking co.As that was your goal, knowing you you would have succeeded.Miss you greatly, rest in peace .

I wish I could of bonded with you more as I was raising my own children. Then you went in the service only never to be seen again.
What a loss that was a loss for everyone. Your father especially as I was living close to your Grandmother and him. They all even myself felt
the loss.  Love Aunt Jean

I didn't know Denny that well, but I do remember he was always polite and friendly. I went to school with his brother Ron who, like Denny, was a true gentleman. Denny will forever be in our hearts.
