Bishop Frederick Dennis Shodekeh - Johnson

Bishop Frederick Dennis Shodekeh-Johnson was born April 17, 1957 in Freetown, Sierra-Leone

The fifth child of Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Johnson, he was bred a Methodist and was ordained a Methodist pastor on November 13, 1980. He accepted Christ and was called into the ministry in 1974 at the age of sixteen. He pursued training and induction as a lay preacher and in August of 1976 he preached his first Sermon from Ruth1:16 and from that point on he has always been a preacher. He was consecrated Bishop on May 20,2007.

In July 1980 he graduated college from the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra-Leone with a B.A. and a L.DIV. In 1982, he graduated from Mindola Ecumenical College in Kitwe, Zambia with a degree in Social Work (B.SW). In 1995 he graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a degree in Psychology and Counseling (M.A.) Also in 1995, he graduated from Strayer University with a diploma in Computer Programming (C.S.) Bishop Shodekeh-Johnson attended Sierra-Leone Grammar School and is a Regentonian.

Bishop Shodekeh-Johnson has served in the Kingdom of God in diverse capacities. He was a teacher in several schools and colleges, pastor in various churches in Africa and USA and was appointed the Administrative Assistant to the General Superintendent of the West Africa Methodist Church in Sierra-Leone.

In 2003, he left the U.M.C. in Virginia USA to answer the move of the Holy Spirit to flow in the Pentecostal realm. Since then he has been instrumental in establishing  several independent African churches in the USA and Africa (Sierra-Leone and Liberia). He also has trained and ordained pastors for a number of churches.

Bishop Frederick Dennis Shodekeh-Johnson is married to Zainab and has a son Frederick Jr.
