I've created this website in hopes that friends and family alike would be willing to contribute their stories and memories of Derek. For us to be able to share with his son's as they are forced to go through life depending on our stories, memories, tributes of their father. It's through our words they will know their dad. I remember being your neighbor for many years! Watching you grown form a young boy to a grown man was very interesting! What a wonderful man you turned put to be! Your presence is very much missed! Praying that GOD sees your family thru this time filled with sorrow!

The day i had a reason...
I remember the day I found out that I was pregnant with you! I was soo excited to be your mom! It was hard to hide my excitement as you well found that out through the years! My world never had more purpose than it did to be your mom! I knew I would love you as much as I could!! I will continue to love you in death too honey. I'm so sorry.. This wasn't suppose to happen to us! Your missed so much...you have no idea the pain we feel. And because I love you..id never want you to feel it. It's unexplainable sweetie! It's really icky. My heart pounds my stomach drops...over and over. Be good and if there is what everyone says there is then I'll see you again! Muah to infinity.
