Derek was born on Feburary 25th,1991, this was a day that changed our lives forever,  he was born an only child and full of joy and happiness. Derek always had a smile on his face loved being outside and loved playing in the water. In his tween years he loved skateboarding  and could master just about any move on the board. He was involved in church for quite a few years  and excepted God into his life. 
     Derek always tried to please everyone and help anyone he could. He was the type of person that would do anything for someone, and never bragged about what he did and always seen the good in people no matter how they acted or looked he would always find something good in that person.   
     Derek loved wakeboarding, fishing and putting smiles on peoples faces.  He is deeply missed by family and friends and will always be in our hearts. Derek left us way to soon, but he surely taught me alot in his years. 
Derek died on june 30,2012 and that day changed us forever, always in our hearts sonshine love and miss you, mom xoxoxo,,,,,
