You will always be missed. We know you are looking down on you're boy's and Connie and watching over them & are so very proud of them!! I know the day the Lord returns and you see them again, will be a Glorious day for you ALL!! "D", We can not beleive it has been 4 years & we will always miss u! Your boys & Coni miss u every day but they are liveng "One Day at A Time" & as allways you would be so proud of them. The boys are so big & look like you & Coni is still a great mom! Derek, sorry i am late but "Happy Birthday", in Heaven. I would guess the time in Heaven is "TIMELESS",any way! We will always miss u,& there r always things that remind us of u. 1 year, I can't believe it, it has gone by so fast. There is not a day that I don't think about u and Coni and those wonderful boys u guys brought into the world. I know u r so proud of them all. All their strength and courage, mentally and physically for Coni, She is one strong girl and that I think in part is because of you. Love U and miss u man. Its just not the same without u.

We were sad when you moved out of our neighborhood but were very lucky to continue to have so many great times with your family and friends. The kids had a great time,especially hanging with the "biggest Kid Derek".We had some great times at the UL games also. Love you man!

Derek was always an outgoing person and very proud of his family. Derek was very motivated, energetic and enjoyed life. Unfortunately his life was cut short, and now he will live on through Garrett and Ethan.Derek has touched many people in special ways and will be missed, but never forgotten.

Right there in that picture it shows you the type of guy that Derek was. He LOVES his wife to death. His hands were always on her, that simple touch on the leg while on the boat means so much, so much. Because Coni and Derek had something that most ppl don't have and that was true and un conditional love.. This picture to me, says it all. Love you man. I can't wait to get there with you.
