Mr. Derrick Undray “Ink” Henderson, the son of Margaret “DeeDee” Thompson and the late Oneal Martin, Jr., was born April 16, 1974 in Troup County, GA. He departed this life on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at West GA Medical Center, LaGrange, GA.

Derrick at an early age, accepted Christ as his Lord and savior and joined the New Zion Baptist Church.

He was product of the Troup County School System, where he was a member of the 1993 graduating class of Troup County Comprehensive High School.

“Ink”, as he was known to many, was a former employee of Lott’s Patterns and Casting of West Point, GA.

“Ink” had a passion caring for his kids, as well as, the younger family members and their children.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Mae Thompson and Willie Joe Henderson, and an uncle, Rev. Ossie "Mickey" McCauley.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Vantavious Gibson, Kenderrious Hutchinson, LaGrange, GA; one daughter, Adasia Hutchinson, LaGrange, GA; has loving and devoted mother, Margaret “DeeDee” Thompson, West Point, GA; three children that he raised as his own, Qynecia Hutchinson, Latasia Tucker and Jaquarious Hutchinson, LaGrange, GA.; three aunts, Daisy “Ned” McCauley, Louellen Dowell, Lanett, AL; Janice Henderson, West Point, GA; one uncle, Mose Dowell, Birmingham, AL; a special friend, Kristina Bridges, Newnan, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends.
