U were so tiny 6lbs 4oz , when they released us from the hospital we went in for your first month check up and that's when the doctors listened to ur heart. And she rushed us to Albuquerque and they diagnosed u with truncus arteriosus.. my baby needed to have open heart surgery. As they prepared for the surgery they finally got it done at two months old. She didn't stay in the hospital for to long for she  had a great recovery.  Awesome doctors and nurses in Presbyterian hospital the heart group there is amazing. 

I can still remember how uncomfortable I was , sitting up in the car lying back down going to the bed then sitting up, going to the bathroom because I just couldn't get comfortable.  My mom had to be at work early thst morning about 4 in the morning so she said ok Candi let's go I'm taking u to the hospital so u can have your little one. She dropped me off and everything happened so fast they put me in a hot tub for hours and then I get to my room I tell Henry I feel.like I need to take a shit so I took all the stuff off my stomach and waddled to the toilet that's when I felt her head , I screamed Henry it's the baby the baby's coming .. he went to get the nurses and sure enough three pushes later my Destinie Angela was born with her little hand next to her head like Superwoman.. it was amazing. When they put my precious baby on my chest all I could say was she has hair.
