Devan i remember when we met at second baptist, you were very inspiring to those you came in contact with.When I got the call that you were gone I was crushed.I spent the next few days talking to your mama mad sure they I was there for her and she could call me anytime.You are truly missed.Heaven has gained another angel.Until we meet again keep playing that music that you loved so much to do.

Devan James Sprawling (3/11/1998 - 11/30/2018) was born to Dennis (Virginia) Sprawling and Yolanda (Harry) Harrison. Devan has 2 sisters, Deidre and Talona.1 brother,Talon. 3 stepbrothers Alex(Briana), Brandon(NaTima), and Von(Ursula). He leaves grandma Betty, special cousin Alisha, and tons of extended family members. Devan loved to fish and hunt. His special love was music. He had a smile that would light up a room. He never met a stranger and was loved by so many. He loved life and he loved the Lord. He will forever be missed by those who loved him dearly, and will always be momma’s baby boy.

I loved you like a son. It has been over 3 months and I’m just now able to speak about you in public without crying. I prayed and said I had to be strong to share my memories of you. Dude, we had a great friendship/familyship. I could see in your eyes that my opinion meant so much to you whenever I would advise you about life. I feel like you were still trying to figure life out. We were praying you would go in the military like Deidre. I remember when you were born. You were a long baby. I now wish you would have had a child ,so me and Landa could rotate baby sitting. We will keep your memories alive. Also, you trained Bella well because she will not go in your studio room. She sit at the door and wait until I come out. We think and talk about you everyday. I will miss you forever.
