Devin Aaron Branch, 26, a resident of Vance County passed away Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 at his home.

Surviving are his parents, Rickie and Margarita R. Branch of Henderson, a special cousin, Bridget Powers of Goldsboro, his aunts Patricia Carter of Youngsville, Cinda Pope of Corona, California, Jean Ward of Apex, Betty Branch of Cary, Pat Larson of Folsom, California, Jeanette Young of Nixa, Missouri, Debbie Smith of Smithfield, five uncles; Billy Ray Pope of Corona, California, Larry Ward of Apex, Aaron Branch of Cary, Doug Carter of Youngsville, and Freddie Smith of Smithfield.

A memorial service will be private and held at a later date.

Baby doll I haven't written to you in a long time it's hard I just miss you everyday. Now I miss your dad too. You would have been 32 today, I just wish the three of us were together to celebrate. The dogs miss you too. I still hold you close to my heart and I always will there's just no getting over this one . Your dad found the note that you wrote on bus to us on your way back here it brought such joy to our heart to read it. It's such a sweet note, it's on the refrigerator where anybody can read it. No parent could have been prouder of their child or love them more then we do you love forever Ma

It has a big red barn with a workshop & attic, a smoke house & fireplace, pecan trees, your garden space, an apartment & more. Rest in peace Devin, you were a beautiful soul, gone too soon. I remember chasing each other up and down the stairs with you as kids, going to the zoo, and the waterpark. I love his smile

I have know Devin most his life. Devin was flowing profound happiness you can feel it in his photos. He shared his happiness with his family I got to know the 26 year old through his adoring parents Rick and Rita and what a gift to my heart. Devin I am deeply touched by how you lived your life and great respect you had for your family and yourself. I love you all forever.
