Funeral service will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at Mt. Enon Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00am and service to follow at 11:00am. Interment at West Memory Gardens.

Dexter Hunt, age 63 was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020.He was born and raised in Dayton, OH. Dexter is preceded in death by his mother Willie Mae Odom, sister, Blenda Odom and brother, David Odom.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Toya Tooson of Indianapolis IN and Zakiyya Scott of Dayton; two sons, Quinton (Jessica) Jones of California and Dexter Coleman of Dayton, OH; two sisters, Deborah Odom and Tannize Odom; one brother, Otis Odom, all of Dayton OH; Grandchildren, Omaurion Smith and Seanal Reed of Indianapolis IN, Noah, Isaac, Angelise and Alexis Jones of California, Zamiyya, Demetreus and Za`Mariya Weaver of Dayton OH; Special nephew, Willie Childs affectionatelyknown as Milkman; Significant other and longtime companion, Michelle Bell; Best friends Tonya West, Alvin Jacko, Maurice Wade, D`Angelo Camp and Tony Allen and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Dexter was friendly, loving and caring to all.He will forever be remembered in the hearts of everyone that knew him.

    We laughed and talked like we also do when we have the pleasure of running in to each other. Your names came up first.  I had no Idea it was your Birthday.  We rejoiced in your memory.
