CHALMUS, Diane – passed away peacefully at her home in Sicklerville, NJ on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, at the age of 80.

Diane, daughter of Albert H. and Dinetta E. (Tally) Palmer (both deceased) of Chester, PA, is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Edward, adoring daughter Donna, son-in-law Jerry and granddaughter Kelly Moore (Philadelphia). Her closet cousin Joan Pearson, born 11 days apart and raised together in love, had been Diane’s anchor and touchstone. Also, her caring and ever-present cousin, Joann Pearson (of Chester, PA). She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends-like-family across the globe. 

In her early years, Diane attended Delaware county public schools. Later she would work in and around Philadelphia eventually finding great skill in clerical and accounting roles at companies in the PA and NJ suburbs. In the prime of Diane’s life, she became an award-winning real estate agent for Century 21 Rauh & Johns in southern New Jersey where she retired in 2012. 

She will be remembered fondly for her unfiltered honesty, adventurous nature, love of Philly and Motown music, cruise life, and simple pleasures like pie and ice cream and an iced cold Coke!  

Private services are planned.
