Her Life
February 7, 2022
Diane Ann Knoll passed away at the age of 68 in Brick, New Jersey.

Surviving Diane are her two daughters, Pam and Erica Knoll.  She also leaves behind her sisters, Christina Vaz, Janet Tese, and Paula Rubino and her brother, Joey Parisi.

Diane grew up in Knickerbocker Village in New York where she was known to be hanging out "on the side" with her best friend Patricia and the rest of their childhood friends.  After high school, Diane began working in the medical insurance business.  For years she made the commute in and out of the city with her perfectly teased hair, blue eye shadow, and false eyelashes always in tact. Once the work week was done, you would likely find her making the most of her time off in the discos.

After meeting her husband, Joe, and starting a family Diane put her career on hold to be a dedicated stay at home Mom for her two girls.  The family moved to New Jersey and Diane re-entered the workforce but with a different focus.  Diane loved working with children, first as everyone's favorite lunch lady at Newbury Elementary School.  She then spent several years in the daycare business with multiple roles eventually becoming a Director.  She later decided to return to her roots spending her last working days as a medical receptionist.

Outside of family, friends, and work, Diane loved Elvis, soap operas, and country music.  She enjoyed attending concerts, her favorite being Luke Bryan where she would sing every word.  Caribbean vacations and cruising became a passion and priority creating a lifetime of memories.

If you knew Diane, you know she surrounded herself with butterflies.  She had them on her clothes, accessories, home décor, car accents, everywhere.  Beautiful, bright, rare, colorful, friendly, and charming; butterflies will always be the perfect representation of who she was and the life she lived.
