Just found out that you were gone, and I still can't believe it. You were my best friend, the best I ever had...I spent so many weekends at your house, your mom always made me feel so welcome...I just wish I had tried harder to stay in touch, we were so very close, but I will see you again one day my dear, dear friend. Love you. Kathy Schureman Manley.

Diann, it is hard to believe you are gone from this life. Sure we had our differences but what family doesn't. At some point we grew up and we loved each other no matter what. I, like Steph, was thinking about the time we all went camping. We had 2 sites, my mom & pop had their camper and the rest of us had a community of tents. We had so much fun!! I think about Thanksgiving & Christmas night card or dice games, play for a bit, get some pie, play some more...we always had fun!
I wish I could be there tomorrow. You are forever loved & will be forever missed. ❤

I'm not sure what to say. I'm still in a bit of denial. My aunt whom most of us called Deedee was a good person. As I go through pictures I can see on her face how much she loved all her nieces and nephews. I have a lot of fond memories to hold onto until I see her again. I realized just a few moments ago that I have something in common with my aunt. She was the record keeper of our family. You always knew Deedee was the person to go to for photographs. I guess now that is me. I am now the record keeper of our family. I have old photos that she passed to me throughout the years, along with those I have collected on my own. I will miss my Deedee but I'm happy knowing she has been reunighted with all the love ones we have already lost. Rest in peace Deedee.

As are most of us, I am still in shock from the news of your passing! Aunt Diann, you are so very loved and will be forever missed! One of my first memories as a little girl is going to your house and playing, but most of all your huge, fat cat! One of my best memories is when our whole family went camping together! Gone too soon!
