CAFFEE, Dianna Mae “Peanut” (Grandstaff)
65, of Dayton, formally of New Carlisle, Ohio was
called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 27, 2021 surrounded
by her family after a bravely fought battle with cancer. She was born April 26,
1955 in Troy, Ohio to Wayne Albert Grandstaff and Norma Jean Grandstaff (Apel).
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Danny
M. Grandstaff, and sister Donna M. Grandstaff Justice. She is survived by her
husband of 48 years, Edward B. Caffee, daughter Kristy D. Deering (Larry), son
Jeremy M. Caffee, grandchildren; Shelby N. Perry (Brian), Brennen M. Dunlevy,
Amelia M. Sherman, Emily Weaver; great-grandson, Memphis L. Perry; sister
Denise M. Cooper McLain; nieces Kelmarie Staples and Mikayla Lyons, nephews
Harley Grandstaff and Mike Augaitus; Fur babies Sugar Ray, Courage, and Lucy
Lou; Special friends Gaye Acosta, Teresa Layne, Kathy Shea, Jamie Slone, Jon
Deering, and a host of other family and friends.
She loved to crochet, sew, play cards, read, and spend
time with her family. Peanut was a caretaker of many and often opened her home
to anyone in need. She reaffirmed her Christian faith by seeking the salvation
of our Lord, Jesus Christ in July 2017. In lieu of flowers, please donate to
Hospice of Dayton or The American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be
announced at a later date.
