I first met Dick 15 years ago when I was attending his Ultrasound training class. He was a wonderful mentor who was knowledgeable, always patient, helpful and kind. He was man of many great qualities. Dick presented himself as a professional and a hard worker, in addition to having a great sense of humor. He was always smiling and those who have worked with him know that his positive attitude was always uplifting. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Dick on many projects as well as attending his trainings over the years and can say with certainty that he was truly a great man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and peers during this difficult time. Dick, your memory will live on in our hearts forever.

I met Mr. Winslow many years ago during an ultrasound equipment training in the Toshiba Medical Systems headquarter in Japan.
His intelligence, knowledge and kindness impressed me a lot.
I apologize to the family to be leaving just now my condolences but as I live in Brazil, I was notified about the incident just a few days ago.
I leave here my sincere condolences and I'm praying that God will bless and bring comfort to the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I first met Dick years ago when he was teaching a Nuclear Medicine course at TAMS. My respect and admiration for him has grown tremendously over the years. Dick was a true gentleman. I never heard a harsh word come out of his mouth. He would always have a smile and kind word for everyone he came in contact with. He was so knowledgeable on so many topics it was amazing. The world has truly lost a wonderful person. He will be greatly missed.

Suny, Caryn, and Marty:
I didn’t know Dick very well, but the few times I was with him and Suny, I could see the love he had for his wife and family on his face. He was always very kind, happy, a great sport, and fun to be around. I enjoyed playing ping pong with him. I am very sorry for your loss, and pray you find comfort and healing in all of your wonderful memories. God bless you all.

Our hearts go out to you in this time of sorrow and grief. I met Dick when he joined TAMS over 30 years ago. He was not only a mentor but a good friend. We shared a lot over the years including many trips to Japan for trainings. Dick was helpful to me when I lost my Dad in 1995. He had a big heart and was helpful to everyone. Most of all he was proud of his family. I remember when Caryn got her position in Seattle for the sea food company and Marty moved to NYC he was beaming with happiness and pride.
Dick and Suny came to our wedding in Phoenix in January 2005 and socialized and danced at our reception. They were incredible to watch having so much fun with each other and our other guests.

Sunny, Caryn, and Martin,

Our deepest condolences to your family from ours. We are still in shock. I have the best memories from Dick. It was such a great surprise for me when I started working at Toshiba three years ago to find out that he worked here too. I would run into him sometimes and it was so good to know we had that in common. i respected him very much and looked up to him for having such a great family and so much love around him. I always remember him being happy. I will not be able to attend the memorial since I will be traveling for business that day but Rosalinda will be there. Sunny, please count on us, let us know if we could help you in any way.

I've know Dick for about 26 years. He was my mentor, colleague, but more importantly my friend. Dale Leach, Phil Acker, and Dick were my life lines in Ultrasound. If Dale, or Phil didn't know the answer, they'd say; "Go ask Dick! He'll know". Words can't really express my feelings for Dick. He was always there for me, and on Sunday, I'll be there for him. My sincere condolances to Suny, Caryn, and Marty. You were his world.

I had known Dick for about twelve years now, he was the first instructor and mentor I had coming to work for Toshiba. He set the tone of what it was to be like at Toshiba and set a bar of caring and excellence that I have still seen unmatched now a decade plus later. This business is a strange one but I want his family to know how much his support and actions have helped other families with their health problems and needs all across this country. My friend...you will be sorely missed...

My heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow. I have known Dick for over 9 years. The stories and pictures of his trips inspired me and my family to start being more adventurous in our travels. I cannot thank you enough for sharing Dick with his other family (TAMS). He and I used to joke about all the difficult ultrasound problems I seemed to encounter. Even when I should have known the answer, Dick did not criticize or belittle me. Dick's patience and smile will be the lasting memories I will keep with me. Rest in peace my friend!

I am so saddened that my Uncle Dick has passed. He was big part of my life in my adolescent years. I knew him as my Cool bachelor Uncle. I have fond memories of our family Sunday dinners, him introducing us to PONG on our TV, sailing in Alameda and his gift of Inrcedible Edibles one Christmas. It was the best gift and one that Santa would never have brought. LOL   . When I look back, what I recall most back is that he always had a way of making me feel important and absorb anything I had to say in conversation with him. He looked at me and listened to what I had to say as though it truly mattered. He always made me feel special, even as a little girl.... I love him for that!!

Love you and Miss  you Uncle Dick- xoxo
