forever in my heart and sole

March 27, 2011

im not one to share alot from my heart, im simply doing this to help my neices go forward!...alot of you have lost a friend, a cousin,an aunt, a great aunt and to some ..a girlfriend.and i assure you, as you have found out, that life goes on and we learn to deal....as for me, its a little different!   not only did i loose a sister, i lost a friend, and i lost my family! when dixie passed away, that left me as the only survivor in our immediant family....not to say by any means we are without any family....we have always had a very large extended family...but as i said it was different for me.....i will always remember dixie in the way that my own heart feels right...and i have good memories, both with her and her children! although she isnt here on earth, she will be forever in my heart and sole.....she is truely missed and loved.....may her and god keep us blessed and watch over us!    your sister debbie

grilling a cake :)

March 26, 2011

at our old house we were doing a "dixie experiment" again and this time it was making a homemade cake...... on a grill!!! well we made the batter and threw it on the grill turns out it worked!!! well... it was mostly like hot fudge but it was still delicious! of course i was kinda worried about eating it but my mom told me it was good and whatever was good too my mom was usually good too me if it didnt contain mushrooms or onions! it turned out it was more than good (of course it was by my mom!) another good memory i will never forget :)

lifetime movies and snacks

March 26, 2011

my mom and i would always make a hole bunch of "dixie's experiments" with whatever we had in the kitchen of course they would turn out perfect and delicious! but if they didnt we would laugh and start over! it would always be so much fun and then we would lay on the couch and eat whatever we made and watch movie after movie on my moms favorite channel lifetime. they were me and mommy times and i will always remember all those times we had together.

Mr. Goodcents

March 18, 2011

So about 3 years ago Aunt Dixie, Kelsey, Karley, and I were at home and we were all hungry and none of us wanted to cook dinner and so we decided we were going to order out, so we decided we were just going to order Mr. Goodcents and they located literelly right behind where we live so we called and placed our order for delivery because we really didnt want to leave the house, it was one of our lazy days and it was my day off of work, and when they asked for our adress they told us that they don't deliver to that part of the town, and Aunt Dixie was starting to get mad and confused, the 2 moods that you did not want to see her in, Karley, Kelsy, and I were like wondering if we should be confused, or scared of her blowing up, so we just said that we will just go and get it, and when she hung up the phone we all just started laughing like hell because it was rediculious that they wont deliver right down the street, so Dixie called back and asked to talk to a manager and she asked him why they wont deliver to us and they out of no where she asked him " Well can u throw the sandwiches out the back door, we will catch them, we all just started laughing because it was like the funniest thing we have heard in the longest time. She was always a joker, and i loved her for the fact that she could always put a smile on my face and she still does when I look back and see what an amazing person she was and thats why she is and forever will be my hero, I Love you so much Aunt Dixie, and I miss you so much it hurts, Im so grateful to have you in my life and in my heart. You will always be with me!!!!!

Dont Play!!!

March 14, 2011

I remember when Aunt Dixie was in the hospital and she was recovering and i went and bought her a candy bar and everyone knows how she loved her milkyway midnight and like ten minutes later she lost her candy bar and she turned to the nurse that was checking her and said "dont play wheres my candy bar" and she thought the nurse took her candy bar and she got really mad and then i looked under her bed and there it was her candy bar. and i thought it was like one of the best stories i have of her and thats one characteristic i loved about her is that she was one the funniest people i know and she could always make you laugh
