We married March 22,1969 on a Saturday.My dad bought a boat on this day.The next day dad,mom,Richard an I hooked to boat an to Al we went.Put boat in water and thrn Richard had never water skied before in his life.But on this cold as ice day my new husband put on water ski's got into lake hooked up to boat.I never laughed so hard.He looked like a eagle sprawled out in the lake.He turned flips an flops .I thought he was going to kill his self.But all of a sudden he stood up and he had learn to ski.It startrd a family gathering every weekend on lake.Camping,cooking, fishing sharing great family times.They even took a old outhouse door down and used it for a ski board.We raised our three kids on the water .He loved outside life.I miss him so much.My heart aches for him.But I will stroll across HEAVEN with him someday.
