"91, that is what would be. I believe you would have been with us today having enjoyed the fireworks. We all miss your touch."

"It's hard to believe it has been five years since my mom's passing. I think of her often, whenever I pass her photo, when I come across one of her handwritten recipes, at holidays when I would have called her. I am aware that I think of her during situations with my own daughters. I wonder what my mom's thoughts might have been or how she might have responded in similar situations with me. Those wonderings are often accompanied with a pang of regret that I didn't appreciate her more when she was on this earth. If she were back with us now, would I act any differently than I did back then? I cannot say, but it's interesting to contemplate."

"Mom, I was just reminded, it is your 90th Birthday today. You are in heaven with almost your entire family. I think of almost daily. You would think that not possible but losing my beloved husband has me closer to you. I thank you for being a wonderful Mom & Grandma & Great Grandma. Zachary & Tatum spoke about how much they miss you. Jean"

"Mom, You were a part of my life every day . Your quiet presence to your Grandchildren and your assistance to their lives . We all wait until we have Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren to pour our love into as we were far to busy when we were raising our own to give time to them. You were the greatest Friend to all of us. I know how much you loved each of them. I remember all the ice cream, lemon drops and Happy Meals you bought. Lara recalls sitting on the counter while you made apple pies. Bryan doesn't believe anyone can make a better one than you. Michelle enjoyed your visits to Kansas City & Andreas all the trips picking up her children and babysitting for her. I love you Mom"

"On this eve of her 88th birthday, I'm remembering my Mom. Evenings are the hardest because that's when I usually called her. I just wanted to know how her day had gone and to hear her voice. I MISS YOU, MOM!!"
