Papa Don, one of the most wonderful men I've ever known...

I took this photo of the storm clouds, on my trip to Payson last September... & didn't realize that I'd captured the reflection of Dad's hand on the steering wheel, until after he passed away.  I love this pic now... ^j^

This is such a good photo of Dad... taken in Ruidoso, NM, on one of his trips to see us!  With camera in hand... & looks so happy!  :)

This was taken at the Payson Pioneer Dinner on Sept. 25, 2010... my 2nd!  I took 5 days' vacation & spent it in Payson... thank goodness I did...

This photo was taken a year before we lost Dad... on the most wonderful vacation ever!  I'll always cherish the memories of this trip... it was the best!  :)

My Gpa Don was one of the most amazing men I've ever had the honor of knowing. He was loving, interesting, talented, and forever Papa Cool!!  :) He had several hobbies that as a kid were so cool.  First was his craftmanship. He built my Mom a rocking chair with his own 2 hands. It's beautiful!!  He also loved to build airplanes and remote control boats. I remember taking one of the boats to the little lake in Payson. We had so much fun. Especially when I was driving it. I wasn't that good at it...

He also taught me when I was young to reload shot gun shells. I thought this was the coolest thing ever!!!  He loved his guns, and I loved him!!!!  So I'll end this by saying that those of you who knew this man also know as well as I do that the world won't be the same without him!!  I love and miss you so much Gpa Don a.k.a. Papa Cool...
