Don Elliot was a really great man he raised me as his own daughter he may have been my grandfather but till this day forward he will always carry on to be my dad he is all I need whether he is with me today or not his spirit is still with me I know he stands by me every day and watches me as I sleep I know he is near he never leaves my side especially when I’m on the road by myself if I feel like something bad is going to happen I pull off and sit there for a minute because my dad Don Elliott is telling me too he is the most amazing man I could have ever met his last words to my fiancé were take care of my girls until this day forward he has done that is still so hard to believe that it’s been a year without you dad  always know you were always in our hearts and never forgotten the days that you taught me how to drive and prepared me for my permit I am so glad you was there to watch me get my permit and my drivers license this is all because of you & Margaret Elliott my grandmother y’all have been there for me since I was born no matter what I will always be yours is little girl yes I know I have grown up a lot and still act like a two year old sometimes but I only do it half the time because it takes me back to the good times with your dad I can’t imagine you being gone I keep telling myself you’re not gone because you still stand by me as I sit here and type this I love you so much dad I just want to say thank you for each and everything you have done for me I will never forget it I have so many memories in my heart so many fun memories in my heart that I will never forget I just want to say thank you once again and thank you for watching me grow up and be a better woman it’s still hard to know that you’re no longer with us but in my heart in our hearts you are still with us I love you so much!
