This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Don Theobald, 58, born on March 15, 1954 and passed away on July 26, 2012. We will remember him forever and miss him immensely.

CELEBRATION OF DON'S LIFE SATURDAY, AUGUST 4, 2012
Please join us to honor Don with a Memorial Celebration. Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 5 - 9:30 p.m. Special remarks and prayer at 6pm Holiday Inn Express - Riverport, 13735 Riverport Drive, St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you join us at the Memorial Celebration and please bring a 4x6 photo of Don with a memory written on the back. These photos will be made into a special memorybook for the family and will be collected at the Memorial Celebration.
Most importantly, bring Don's favorite part of YOU: unforgettable memories and stories of your times together. Although a formal podium for public speaking will not be provided, we encourage everyone to make new friends , rekindle old friendships, and share your special memories. This was Don's wish as well as his own successful mission in life.

In memory of Don, a “529” College savings account has been set up for Don’s grandchildren, Sammie and Charlie’s future college education. There has been numerous inquiries about flowers, contributions, etc., in lieu of, the family is requesting contributions be made to the Education fund or a charity of your choosing. Dman, it is really hard to believe it has been one year. When we are at River City, in Las Vegas or just driving down the highway, I still expect to see your smiling face. To quote Don's obituary in today's paper, Don was the true 'VIP". My husband and I have known Don for many, many years and considered him as not only a dear friend, but part of the family. Don helped me with my dealing career when the first riverboat came to Alton. After finally becoming a dealer he pulled up after my first day in a limo with my two children waving out of the roof to pick me up and take me to my car. It was thoughtful and considerate. He made everyday an event to be celebrated. That was Donald Theobald. From the kindness of his heart he gifted us with a memory that I will always cherish.
Taken from us to soon. My pray is for those he loved and held dear. May you be lifted up in this time of great sorrow.
