The Travelers

I traveled home with you today,
We watched sunset along the way.

And mountains shined,
with peace sublime,
and valleys danced away.

Some friends were, because they cared,
And Lord, but we had fun:
We laughed, and cried, and deep inside....
We pondered the love of the Son.

Most pain was gone.
We ALL belong to papa,
and live with the lamb;

My Heart soared to Montana’s mountain tops with you in my life! Along with the deepest darkest valleys. We both got through it all. I was honored to hold your hand for your last breath. Meet you on the other side.

Julie and Crystal, I am sorry for your loss. If not for Don, I would have never visited you in Berlin or Virginia City. I cherish the wonderful memories of both trips.  I'm so grateful to have seen Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin at Christmas, and to have celebrated New Year's Eve with you. Thank you, Don, for sharing Mt Baldie with us and the triump of making it to the top. May your spirit be surrounded goodness and beauty.
