Don and Ferne were pretty special to all. Don had 2 brothers, Darrell and Jim and 2 sisters, Arlyce and Cherys. Ferne was 1 of 12 children. Dale, Naomi, Ferne, Ernie, Billy, Electa, Hyle, Arlyce, Keith, Karen, Lylas and Rowena. 

Don and Ferne had 2 boys. Doug was born in 1943 and Terry was born in 1946. Doug and his wife, Connie live in North Bend, NE and Terry and his wife, JoAnn live in Wausa. Doug and Connie have 2 children, Dodd and Stefanie and Terry and JoAnn have 4 children, Dennis, Becca, Kristi and JoEllen.
