How I miss you so much.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of so many wonderful memories.
And, you just being you, was most the awesome gift you could give to your grandchildren. Dad, they miss you so much too.

Dear Dad,

Oh how I miss you so much. It seems as time goes by, and it’s so hard to believe it’s been 21 years since you’ve been gone, I miss you more and more each minute.

The other day I was at a grocery store and as I was coming out, this man was coming in to the store, and he looked identical to you. He was your twin. I had to take quite a few glances at him, and my heart flipped. I started to cry. I so wanted to go up to the man to see how much he resembled you up close, but I chose not to, instead to remember you when we were together in happy times.

Soooo many happy times and funny and fun times I had with you. I especially remember when we went hunting and I asked you to buy me a pack of cigarettes. Think I was about 17 or so. Of course you said no way, being totally against smoking, so I told you ok fine, then I’m not going hunting with you :)
Then you caved and gave me a 10 dollar bill.
When we got to the store, you sat in the car waiting for me to go in. I told you no, that you were going in to get them for me.
Again, you said no way. So again I said ok I’m
not going hunting with you. And again, you caved and went in to buy them for me :)
Then off we went hunting with your beer in the back seat and my cigarettes in my purse :)
You never had to get out of your car to shoot a partridge. You pinged them off one by one from your driver’s seat. 
We always had sooo much fun :)
We always went home with more than enough partridge, and fish too, but the fishing memories are for another time :)

I love you so much Dad. I miss you soooooo very much.
I can’t wait to see you again.

I miss you soooo much. I listen to this song, and it tears me up, because it reminds me of you, as we are both so much alike. I definitely am your daughter, that’s for sure.
It’s hard to believe that it’s going to be 20 years since you left us, in May. Where did all the years go :(
