Remember when Rick was born and the first day you brought him an ice fishing pole?  We sure had a lot of good fishing times...both ice fishing and on the pontoon.  You caught a tree one afternoon and it took us forever to cut you loose.  I believe you were showing us all the "proper way to cast."  :)

My dad's last words to me were "I love you, Joey.  I have always loved you, and I will always love you."  It doesn't get any better than that.

One of my favorite stories took place on an Easter Sunday.  I was probably about 13-14 years old.  I was being "sassy" (hard to believe!) while we were on our way home from church.  I was dressed in high heels, a skirt, and pantyhose.  Dad said if I didn't "knock it off" he would put me right in the snowbank (which was about 5' deep).  I said something like "Oh, whatever!" and found myself right in the snowbank, dress, heels, and all!  My dad thought that was so funny.  I have to admit that I did, too. :)
