Born in Oakland, CA, Don graduated from Alameda High School in 1967. A founding member of the Pacers Car Club, he had a lifelong passion for cars & racing. He enjoyed both his 55 Chevy and his C/Gas Dragster. On weekends you would find him at Fremont Drag Strip. This passion carried over into his career as a mechanic at several Bay Area Chevrolet Dealerships including FH Dailey as a Transmission Specialist. He lent an unconditional hand to anyone in need and made everyone feel valued. His blue eyes were never as bright as when he was unfolding a story with his humorous personality. His foremost source of pride was being a single father raising his baby boy Albert. He will be greatly missed.
