We sure do miss you daddy. The days have come and gone and it's not any easier but I try really hard to remember everything you taught me. I hope you are proud of me and the boys. Your legacy lives within us forever! Rest well daddy. ❤

May we continue to keep his candle lit through our obedience to God's will, for it is the only way we know we will be reunited with him and our loved ones. Thank you Tiffany for sharing a beautiful memorial.

It is still hard to believe that God called Mr. Neal home. He was such a wonderful person. He was also an incredibly talented man. Mr. Neal was a great cook and an awesome musician. Above all, he was a wonderful husband and father. I always admired his love and admiration for Mrs. Neal and his children. More than anything, I admired his dedication to the Lord. The Neal family means the world to mine. Mr. Neal will always remain dear to our hearts. He is truly missed.

I was fooling around on the internet (something that didn't exist when I last saw Don) and decided to 'google" him and found this tribute page. i guess the fact that I knew he was deceased and decided to google him anyway is some sort of tribute to what a great guy and friend he was. We shared many, many insightful and hilarious moments together, such as standing on the banks of the Potomac river celebrating St. Patrick's Day with John Galuska, Polish-American, and Enrique Perales, Mexican-American. They and Don, and me, Mutt-American, were a definitely unorthodox mix of St. Patrick's day revelers, but we had a great time, even though a cold drizzle was chilling us to the bone. I think about him often.

Daddy

November 22, 2014

I have so many memories with my dad.  He meant the world to me and will forever be missed.  Daddy was so talented.  He played the drums in the Marine Corps and was an excellent cook.  He dedicated many years to the US Postal Service and was a devout Christian.  He loved all of his family and friends very dearly as he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. I have never met a man so giving and generous.  He would give the clothes off his back if he knew someone needed them.  He was gone too soon, but I find comfort in knowing that I will see him again someday in heaven.  Even though time has passed, it really doesn't heal my broken heart.  But, I've learned to live with all of the wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.  My dad was my hero for so many reasons.  He raised me, with my mom, to be the person I am today.  I will NEVER forget the father daughter moments we shared, they will be treasured always.   I will keep his memory and legacy alive by celebrating his life each day.
