Donald Covert of Milford, Ohio was born March 19, 1927, to Clara E. Covert (ne Paul) and Charles Covert.He was born in Clayton, Ohio.
Don met the Love of His Life, Wanda G. Walton and they married and were blessed with five daughters. Don was a Veteran and served in the Army National Guards.He spent his working for the Cincinnati Milacron Corporation.Don was always making people laugh!His Don’isms will ring true in the hearts of all who knew and loved him and will be passed down for generations.
His sense of Humor continued until the day he went home to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was reunited with his beautiful wife Wanda and those who preceded him in death; his father, Charles Covert; his mother, Clara Covert; his sister, Edith; brothers Lester “Glenn” and Robert Covert.Don’s wife Wanda passed away nine years prior and it left an emptiness that was always in his heart.
Don is survived by his daughters, Brenda Estell (Steve), Robin Covert Castiglia, Debbie Skidmore (Dave Moore), Jennifer Zalia (Andrew Martin III), Julie Johannes (Stephen); and twelve grandchildren, Kevin Estell, Donald Castiglia (Sarah), Stephen Castiglia, Sam Skidmore (Kortney), Andrew Martin Zalia IV (Sheyanne), Megan Stein (Liam), Christopher Zalia, Kathryn Zalia, Nicholas Zalia, Olivia Johannes, Nathaniel Johannes and Sophia Johannes; and great-grandchildren, Lucy Castiglia, Ryleigh Skidmore, Mason Sein and Sage Stein.There are numerous other family members and friends who loved Don and will miss him dearly!
A Graveside service will be held in the Spring at the Cemetery in Manchester, Ohio.If interested, Don has requested that any memorials be sent to the Trinity Methodist Church in Milford. Ohio or Hospice of Cincinnati.
