For the few years that I had Don in my life, I sure loved him. He shared my birthday along with my twin brother, then when he died on the day & time my brother did it just has amazed me that something like that ever could happen. He is a wonderful memory! Miss you Don

Today has been in the back of my mind for the past week....we miss you so much! Life continues on and 6 long years have passed!
Wish we could talk to you and hear your strong and calming voice!
So many things have happened in the 6 years of missing you but I am so very thankful for your strong guidance throughout the years...it has helped us steer though some very rough waters! Thank you for being my father and teaching values and love of our Heavenly Father! I love you and will see you again!

Dad.....for some reason it hurts so much this year!!! I miss you so much and really want a "Do Over" and I know that is not possible. Our little Abby left this morning and would have given anything for you to have known her and yet I know you do. So much spunk in that little bit, probably another Veta Fay......thankful Dad that you were my Dad, but I miss your voice and the security in that sound and that all was going to be OK!!! Love ya to the moon and back!!

Dad, today is the day we celebrate your coming into this world, and thru Gods grace, he let me have you as my father on this earth. Every day I am so grateful for that blessing. You gave me life, you gave me love,
You taught me how to have courage to carry on. I miss you beyond words. I miss your ever smiling face, your soft spoken advice and the comfort of your presence! You live within me every day.
I look forward to the day I will see you again! Happy Birthday Dad, I love you.

In this 3rd year of missing you, wishing I could just ask you some things,
sometimes I try to think what you might say or do!!
I want to honor you by saying, thank you for this life and for your life, showing me how to live fully and honorably. Thank you for showing me and teaching me the Love of my Heavenly Father. I love you...Thank you for being my Dad!!

Don was a good, honest man who loved his chosen profession and family. He was a class act - a prince of a man. Early childhood memories (great memories) are of Don and Veta. It was always a pleasure to visit with them throughout the years. Don you were well-liked and admired by your many relatives and friends. You were also one of my Mother's favorite in-laws. Thank you for being you.

This is our first Christmas without you and it has been one very long year since you went home to your heavenly father and all your loved ones that went before you. I miss you so much, but I am so grateful for the life you gave me and all the special memories I have forever. I love you!
