This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Donald Baker, 84, born on January 23, 1933 and passed away on July 8, 2017. We will remember him forever.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He delivered ice in a wagon at age 10 and gave his mother all the money he earned. In his young teens he was a boxer in his home town of Memphis TN. He continued to box for money into his young adult life in California. He was an Air force TI and MP. He loved to dance and sing. To his close friends he was known as 2 beer baker, but he could put them down with the best of them. He loved to hunt, camp, fish, bowl, and work with his hands. He built hundreds of homes as a career and finished up his work life as a general contractor, specializing in bathroom remodels. His favorite place was Rock Creek where he spent a lot of time camping with his loving wife.

He finished out his last 13 years in Indiana where he fought very hard against many different ailments, but pushed forward day to day as the strong man he was with his wife Carol, son Matthew, daughter in law Sara, and grand children, Irie, Daniel, Bear, and Jon by his side.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 42 years Carol, who lovingly referred to him as "Honey".

Donald will be greatly missed by all he met for his caring and giving nature, and everything he contributed to their lives.

GOD BLESS AND KEEP THIS GREAT MAN!!!
