Donald Thomas 1960 - 2021 Donald Eugene Thomas, 60, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Donald was born in Gastonia on December 10, 1960 and is the son of Brenda Railey Hawkins and the late Earl William Thomas. Donald was a loving son, brother and a friend to so many. He will truly be missed. Donald is survived by his mother, Brenda Railey Thomas Hawkins; one sister, Lori Moses (Christopher); fiancée, Marie Loomis; two brothers, Robert Eugene Jones, Buddy Gibson; nephew, Christopher Thomas. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service to remember Donald on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 for family and friends at Donald's home, 309 Elizabeth Drive, Gastonia. A private inurnment will be private and at a later date.
