Donna Lynn Franck was the youngest of two daughters born to the late Damon Lewis and Ola Mae Malicoat on August 25th, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio. She shared her love of God proudly, attending services at many local churches and missions throughout her life.
Donna was educated in the West Carrollton school system and received her high school diploma earlier than most of her peers in 1976. After High School, she attended Sinclair Community College seeking to increase her secretarial and business skills. She was a bank teller before becoming a stay-at-home mother, and helped her mother run a family Tanning business for many years after.
Donna married shortly after high school in 1977, and had her first child, Misty, just a couple years later. Although this marriage briefly ended, the two communicated and their families made efforts to stay connected throughout her life. In 1983, Donna married her lifelong husband, Kelly, and through this union came her son, Joseph. The couple built a strong family safe haven for their children, family, and friends.
Donna Lynn Franck had a kind and gentle nature. She was affectionately known as Granny to most everyone. She loved her grandchildren more than the world. She loved her extended family members and friends with her whole heart as well. She was a social butterfly even when life was hard for her, she shared her smile and heart. She prayed diligently for others daily and cared deeply about the well-being of her loved-ones and others. She was our Facebook cheerleader, always in your corner with words of kindness and encouragement. Thus, serving to remind us exactly how special she truly was. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.
