Dinner Saviour

April 7, 2019

I remember when we had to work those long hours on BRAC in the upstairs Conference Room.  Sometimes it would be all night and into the next day.  It was one of those days that Donna came to our rescue.  Since we never knew when we would have time to break for a meal, we really didn't prepare too well for that.  One evening while working, tired, hungry and just plain beat, in walked Donna with dinner for all of us.  I don't remember exactly how many were there that evening, but it was a lot.  It didn't matter, Donna had prepared plenty, and it was darn delicious.  That's who Donna was!!

The potluck fiasco

April 2, 2019

I will never forget this day .... Janet, Donna and I worked together at the Support Business Center. We were as close as sisters . We worked with an amazing group of people but directly in our office we had Greg, Jay, Skip ,Russ and our fantastic boss Mr. Hilton. We decided we would have a potluck but no one told each other what they were bringing. Oh my goodness everyone of us brought the most gas filling foods . Cabbage, Beans, Chili,  deviled eggs. I remember we started eating in the morning and continued all day. Donna yelled from her cubicle “whatever you do, don’t light a match “ we all had a good laugh. Then Jay played music and we eachcame out of our cubicle and formed a Rumba line. Our boss shook his head and chuckled as we all went dancing by. Those were the best of times.
