Another nest that Donnie brought me the following Summer. I fussed at him because he spotted the nest very high up in a tree and took me to the 7th floor to show me through a window. I told him to leave it because I didn't want him breaking his neck all for a bird nest O_O. That night I hear....knock knock knock and there he stood smiling with nest in hand \O/. I now appreciate these nests more than I could've ever imagined. Thank you Donnie :)

"Message of Hope"
Donnie loved to paint wolves. This is one of my favorites. The mountains behind the wolf are interesting. Donnie painted mountains a lot. One of my business partners at the Art Experience, Katie Serewicz-O'Connor took a trip to Alaska with her family and commented when she got back that Donnie's mountains looked just like Alaska. Donnie never went there, but he surely could paint them well.

St. Leo's Soup Kitchen Mural
Donnie, Sharon O'Hara-Bruce and I painted this mural in the soup kitchen at St. Leo's Church neart old Tiger Stadium in Detroit. First we went in and asked the customers what they would like to see in their dining room, and then we combined their suggestions for this scene. Donnie painted all of the sky and river parts as well as the gazebo.
