Another nest that Donnie brought me the following Summer. I fussed at him because he spotted the nest very high up in a tree and took me to the 7th floor to show me through a window. I told him to leave it because I didn't want him breaking his neck all for a bird nest O_O. That night I hear....knock knock knock and there he stood smiling with nest in hand \O/. I now appreciate these nests more than I could've ever imagined. Thank you Donnie :)

Nest

A few months after showing Donnie my nest, he knocked on my door and said that he had something for me. This nest is what he had. He instructed me to wind fishing line around the nest to preserve it. I use my collection for decoration and potpourri. God has a lot of nice things laying around :)

Donnie loved to paint wolves.  This is one of my favorites. The mountains behind the wolf are interesting. Donnie  painted mountains a lot. One of my business partners at the Art Experience, Katie Serewicz-O'Connor took a trip to Alaska with her family and commented when she got back that Donnie's mountains looked just like Alaska. Donnie never went there, but he surely could paint them well.
