His Life
August 3, 2017

Dontae Torrez Floyd was born to Nelson “Fat” Floyd, Jr. and the late Sharon Sparks Floyd on March 30, 1983 in the County of Lee and the State of Alabama.

Dontae accepted Christ at a young age and joined the Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Salem, Alabama.

He was employed at Ajin. His passion for music made him the renowned DJ we know as “Kuntry Black”. Dontae was an active member of the Street Legendz Motorcycle Club and served as Sergeant at Arms.

Dontae was a loving son and brother. “Fat” and Cinderella were the apple of his eye. He adored his big brother Tranell. He was kind, friendly, helpful and had a humble heart. He loved his family, friends and his beloved Crystal.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Sparks Floyd and his maternal and paternal grandparents. On Sunday, July 30, 2017, Dontae took his last ride as God summoned him home to eternal rest.
