ForeverMissed

Ms. Dorether Mingo, daughter of the late Arthur and Hattie Mingo -

Dorether was a very Loving Mother,Grandmother, Sister and Friend.

We all miss her beautiful smile, and joyful laughter,

She never turned anyone away from her table, or her heart.

She would welcome you into her home and give you godly wisdom,

when you left her home you knew you were Loved.

She knew what it meant to Serve!

And she did it with a cheerful and unselfish heart.

We Cherish your Memories Mother and you will be forever Missed!!

Honoring our Mother's Birthday is a loving annual tradition...it is a time for us to come together, share our memories of how mother impacted all our lives, showing our love to one another as she did for us.
Mother left a beautiful legacy of love and service to everyone who knew her. I am thankful to God for allowing her to be my mother having her in my life for the time I did made me a stronger and wiser woman.
When problems come, and things are not going the way I think they should, I always remember our talks...in her own way she was preparing me for when she could not be with me physically.....Thank you mother for always being there for me, even now....."Spiritually"
I will always honor You!

I remember visits with my Aunt at the old house when I was a little girl and as a teenager. She made me feel so special just as if I was her daughter and not her niece. I miss her sweet personality and wise sayings. She told me something that's proving it self to me now. I was about 30 something and complained of my knee hurting and she said just wait til you get my age and get up in the morning walking like a hog in hi-heel shoes. I loved her then and love her even more now. R.I.P. WITH ALL YOUR SISTERS AND BROTHERS WITH YOU IN YOUR NEW HOME.

My Grandma has been a great source of inspiration for me through my life. Til this day I still quote some of her sayings and remember all of our talks. I admired so many attributes that grandma possessed. She would sacrifice for the family is/was one if her strongest attributes. If people in this world could take a page out her book and be half the person she is/was, I believe this world would be a better place.

This flower I lay in Memory of my Mother and my two sisters Creola & Eurahlee who have gone on to join her in rest. I miss them so much especially holidays and birthdays, we will be gathering together again this year in honor of mothers birthday in SC. Even though my heart is heavy and tears flow from missing then, I know their Spirits will be with us ever strong...as always.
I Love you MOM, Creola , Eurahlee - RIP

In honor of my mother's 12 anniversary of passing, I'm remembering all the things she did for her family and friends unselfishly, the long talks we would have on her porch drinking coffee in the mornings, my mother was not a rich woman financially but she was the richest woman in the world with LOVE, she could not give us material things we wanted but she gave us JESUS. I Miss You Mother.

I remember going over to Auntie's house to take Fina home from practice and meeting Lee and Barbara for the first time. She told me about our family and i enjoyed it. I often came back to talk and laugh with her as well as meeting her other kids and their kids. She was my connection to the family I never knew and I do love her for that. Miss you a lot Auntie!!

I remember how my Mother would feed anyone who was hungry, if they were walking by and smelled her cooking they would stop in and sit and talk with her, until she was finished cooking and they would eat, no matter who you were. And that taught me never to look down on any one, or think I was better than anyone, My mother was a giving person, and very Loved!
