She is survived by six children, Debbie (Greg) Oleson, Brian Brumfield, Francis (Michele) Brumfield, Janet Davis, Paige (Lee) Rice, and Paul (Tara) Brumfield. Her grandchildren are Michael (Beth) Oleson, Britney Brumfield, Matthew Oleson, Lacey Brumfield, Lindsey Rutland, Heather Brumfield, Conner Davis, Abby Brumfield, Sarah Parker, Daniel Brumfield, Jessie Brumfield, Sydney Davis, and Ethan Brumfield.

She is survived by siblings Thomas (Lucy) Lott, Frances Belliveau, Charlie (Jane) Lott, John (Diane) Lott, Reuben (Susie) Lott, and Joe (Carolyn) Lott, and many nieces and nephews, her brother-in-law, Pete Hurst. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Kelly Brumfield, her husband, Francis Brumfield Sr., and her siblings, Bobby Gene Lott, Richard Lott, Nancy Hurst, and Walter Lott.

Doris was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, friend and granny. She was the backbone of a close knit family and will leave behind a great legacy. She enjoyed preparing a delicious home cooked meal every Sunday for her children and grandchildren, a tradition which will be carried on. She was retired from the Troup County School System where she worked in the cafeteria and impacted many lives throughout the years. To many she was like a second mother.
