There is no way I could pick just one memory of my dear Aunt Doris! Always gracious, always loving and kind, she was a wonderful woman! Although we didn't get to see each other as often as we would have liked due to distance, it always felt like we had never been apart! I loved sitting around and chatting, playing cards and laughing with her. She was patient when it was a new game and we were just learning. Vacations in Florida were a must! It gave me the opportunity to see and spend time with her and the rest of the extended family! After mom passed, she was there and waiting with her arms open wide to comfort me. I couldn't have asked for a better Aunt! I will miss her very much! Rest well in the arms of Jesus Aunt Doris! Love you!

With the caring embrace of her family, Doris passed away holding hands with her husband of 67 years into the loving hands of the Lord on 2/8/21, at the age of 92, from her home.

Doris is survived by her husband, William W Smith, her 3 sons Richard, David, and Wayne and her daughter Sandra Robertson and many grandchildren.

Our Mother was the most caring and compassionate woman, she had the most beautiful smile that would light up a room.
