Gran-Gran you were an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. It was always amazing to me how such a small person had such a huge heart to love each and everyone of us in a special way. Although it is only 24 hours in a day you always had time for all of us. I remember as a young child when my parents would go out of town I would always chose to stay with my Gran-Gran. Even though you are no longer here with us physically your spirit, energy, wisdom, guidance, patience, understanding and love will forever remain with us. "Hey Vie! How's my girl?" That's how Mrs. Dotson would always greet me and always with a big smile. I loved her hugs. I loved to hear her sing. She was a beautiful person who always made you feel loved. I'm so happy she was not only able to see me grow up and get married, but also be in my wedding which I'm so grateful for. I thank you all and the Lord for sharing her with us. May God continue to bless your family and comfort you now and forever.

Although I never met Ms. Doris in person, I was allowed the opportunity to adopt her as my Suga Mama. Paula granted me the pleasure of being part of her extended family. I always was excited to see what shenanigans Suga Mama would be doing from time to time. I will truly miss her but I know I will see her again. Suga Mama, you ran a great race and you finished your course. Now enter into the joy of the Lord and take your rest. We will see you when we get there.

Dear Ms Doris Juanita Dotson... aka... "Ms Manual Arts"... it was an honor to meet you and a privilege to have videotaped you on a number of special occasions.
