Doris's cousin, Ellen Philippi Chambers passed away on Doris's birthday this year.  Doris kept in touch faithfully with her remaining cousins and she is celebrating her reunion with Ellen.  Ellen celebrated 95 years of life and now lives eternally with other saints.  God bless you all.  Love, cousin Beverly

Fond Memories

November 29, 2019
I Remember the Beatty family reunions each August and catching up with all my first cousins in the 1950's.  Doris was instrumental in organizing a restart of the reunion for first cousins in 2009 with 100% attendance for a weekend in Indiana, Pa. It had been 50 years since we had all seen each other.  We dd it again in '11, '13, and '15.  Michelle and I had a wonderful afternoon with Doris in 2017, shortly after her FL - IL move. We had talked about seeing each other again soon but Doris has now gone to be with Ron. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.  Floyd Beatty & Michelle Thibedeau

Memories

We would see Doris at the Philippi Family Reunion in Rochester Mills PA usually held in September. Doris always enjoyed catching up on everyone and Dale and I would enjoy finding out what was happening in her life! Absent from the body, present with the Lord. I’m sure my Dale was glad to see her beautiful face when she entered heaven! May you have His peace during this difficult time!
Love & Prayers!

Fondest memory

November 6, 2019
I have known Doris Coup for more than half my life, as I am Joyce's esister-in-law.  Knowing her for so long means I have many memories, especially since she recently returned to Illinois to be near her kids and grandkids.  Her pure genorosity in giving me her late husband, Ron's gold diabetic medical medallion is something I will never forget, as i am also a Type 1 diabetic.  It was such a thoughtful gift, and I wear it everyday, around my neck.  As I wear it I will be reminded of Doris and Ron who are together once again.  I will keep all of her family in my prayers.  Lisa
