Doris Wells, 74 of Erlanger KY, passed away very unexpectedly on December 17th at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood Kentucky. She is survived by her loving husband Gary William Wells, married 52 years, her surviving son Paul Wells, his spouse Kimberly, and grandson Jake. Additional survivors include her sisters; Joyce Wagner (Bracken County, KY), Rita Salaimeh (Lawrenceburg, KY), Rebecca Current (Bracken County, KY), and brother William Northcutt Jr. (Georgetown, KY), and many nieces and nephews.                                                     Doris was born November 18th, 1947, to Oliver Dowd, and Helen Tolle in Cynthiana KY. She attended Harrison County High School. She moved to Covington, KY in 1965. At 18 years old, she started working at Peoples Liberty Bank, then Star Bank, and finally Fidelity Investments until she retired from the banking industry. In 1972, she moved to Erlanger, KY, to raise her family which she was very proud of. She and Gary lived there until her passing.               Doris loved her Church, worldwide missions, and her Tea Parties with the Red Hat Society members. She attended Florence Baptist Temple for 50 years. She helped her husband Gary teach The Young at Hearts Class for many years. She loved the Lord so much and her generous heart and nature will be missed.                                                                                          Visitation will start at 12:00 Noon Monday Dec.27th at Florence Baptist Temple 1898 Florence Pike, Burlington KY, 41005.  Followed by the service at 1:00 pm.  Internment will be held at 2:00 at Florence Lawn Memorial Park, 3227 Dixie HWY, Erlanger KY. 41018.
