- Doris M. Eckhardt passed away peacefully December 6, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, she was 93. Doris was born June 6, 1926 to the late Arthur and Anna Davidson. Doris was married to Harry G. Eckhardt on February 11, 1950. They lived in Bayonne starting a family, before moving to Old Bridge. She has been a resident of Atlantic Coast and was known as #5 and the lady with the pretty bows and fiesty personality.
- She worked for Sears Catalog and was known as "007".
- Doris loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
- She loved people, socializing, music and most of all dancing.
- She was a member of Howell Senior Club for many years and enjoyed all their activities.
- She will be deeply missed by all that knew her especially her three daughters and seven grandchildren.
- Doris was predeceased by her parents, husband Harry, Son Brett John, and Brother Arthur.
- She is survived by three daughters, Doris Loniewski and husband Edward of Whiting, Cheryl Enos and Alan of South Amboy, Leslie Penoglou and her husband Dimitrios of Howell. Seven grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Dimitrios Jr., Shane, Holly, Dorian and Alexandra and ten great grandchildren.
