Ms. Dorothy A. McBride of Columbus, passed away quietly Monday at Gentiva Hospice. She was 75 years old and resided at 836 Baycreek Court.

 
Ms. McBride will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery, Columbus, GA. on Saturday June 25, 2016 following a three O'clock Homegoing Celebration in the sanctuary of New Providence Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Thaddeus Spencer.

Visitation will be 3:00 til 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral Home.

The cortege will depart from the residence Saturday at 2:30 P.M.

My condolences to the family Dot was like an aunt to me from the moment we met. I'll never for get the times we shared at my uncle Rick's house or at family events. Additionally we had the pleasure of attending the same beauty shop so spent many times catching up and laughing while getting our hair done. She will be missed.

May each of you find comfort during this time of sorrow, and as a days go by you will rejoice to know there is no more suffering. the pain will lessen and you will have the beautiful memories that your loved one shared.
