When Pastor Smith announced her passing to the congregation, he said “if Shiloh had a Mother’s Board, Deaconess Dorothy Davis” certainly would have been on it. Deaconess Davis was a quiet Christian woman, who remained a faithful servant until the end. She loved serving the Lord at Shiloh, and she loved being with her large family. Although Deaconess Davis was not one for the limelight, she was well known around the church and community for her caring spirit and steadfast dependability.
